A total of 32 national teams will participate in this championship, and the hosts of the tournament are Croatia, Denmark and Norway. The matches will be played in a total of five cities, namely Oslo, Hering, Zagreb, Porec and Varazdin. The favorite will be Denmark, which is the defending champion. Among the other national teams performing: USA, Croatia, Norway, Brazil, Qatar, Japan, Argentina, Chile, Kuwait, Bahrain, Sweden, France, Cape Verde Islands, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Germany, Guinea, Iceland, Austria, Netherlands, Slovenia, Czechia, Holland, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Italy, North Macedonia, Cuba and Switzerland.
The competition starts with four teams divided into eight groups, three of which advance, and the points are transferred. After that, four new groups with six teams each are formed, of which the first and second placed teams advance to the fourth final. The quarter-final matches are scheduled for January 28 and 29, and then the semi-final matches await us on January 30 and 31. The semi-final matches will be played in Zagreb and Oslo. The match for the third place as well as the final is scheduled for February 2nd, and they will be played in the Unity Arena in Oslo.
As we mentioned, the favorite will be the defending champion, Denmark, but several other national teams will be waiting for their chance, so by all accounts, a very interesting championship awaits us.
