Crvena zvezda made a huge feat by defeating the leader in the table Olympiakos away, with 81:73, for the second time this season. The Belgraders started strongly from the start, and at halftime they had +19. Olympiakos reduced the lead in the third quarter, but Zvezda did not give up and calmly played the last quarter, bringing the match to an end. A great victory for Zvezda, which now has its destiny in its hands again. The most effective in this victory was Giedraitis with 20 points, while Miller-McIntyre scored 15 with 11 rebounds. The best player of the home team, Vezenkov, was the most efficient and scored 19 points with 9 rebounds.
Monaco recorded their second win of the season over Fenerbahçe, this time in France. The best player for the home team was Mike James, with 29 points and 6 assists, followed by Okobo with 16 points. With the Turkish team, McCollum was in the best mood with 24 points, while Gudurić scored 15, with 6 rebounds and 6 assists. At the end, 91:82 for the home team.
Maccabi justified its role as the favorite and beat Virtus 77:67 on its neutral ground in Belgrade. The difference was made by the second and third quarters, which Maccabi won with a total of 20 points. Jokubaitis scored the most for the home team, 19 points, followed by Clark with 14, while Polonara was the most effective among the visitors with 15 points.
In a duel that on paper should have been much more uncertain, Baskonia demolished Bayern Munich with 112:89. The advantage came in the second half, which the home team won by 21 points. Howard was the best with 27 points, while Forrest and Hull scored 14 each. For the guests, Napier scored 15, while Edwards and Vojtman scored 13 points each.
Real Madrid justified its role as the favorite and beat Lyon at half strength with 81:70. Already after the first quarter, everything was clear, and Real won that section with a difference of 22 points. It is interesting that Lyon won all three subsequent sections, but with a difference of a couple of hairs, so they only reduced the advantage. Eddie Tavares scored 23 points with 6 rebounds, and thus was the most effective, while Maledon gave 25 for Lyon, with 5 assists.
And Panathinaikos celebrated in a previously won match, over Alba, in Athens, with 91:81. At the beginning of the last quarter, the home team had only a two-point lead, but they performed the rest of the game routinely and won the game in the end. Grant was the most effective with 19 points, while Nunn scored one less for the home side, while Thomas was the best with 14 points for the visitors, and Prosida scored one less.
Barcelona achieved a very important victory at home against Zalgiris in the fight for the playoffs. In the end, the home team won with 82:70, and Brizuela was the most effective with 20 points, while Anderson scored 16. For the guests, as many as three players scored 13 points each, Brazdeikis, Francisco and Sirvidis.
In the last match of this round, we saw the biggest surprise. Partizan welcomed Efes in front of a packed Arena, in a very important match for both teams, in the fight for the playoffs. But only the guests played on the field, and in the end they celebrated with a score of 97:65, thus probably extinguishing any hope for Partizan to find themselves even in the playoffs. Efes controlled the match from start to finish and deservedly celebrated, and the best was Thompson with 19 points, while Bryant scored less. Jones and Ntilikina scored 11 points for home team Bongo.
Olympiakos is still the leader with a score of 22-8, Fener follows with 20-10, PAO has 19-11, and Monaco is in fourth place with 18-12. Alba is last with a score of 5-25.
