One of the two matches that ended without goals was the duel between Dinamo and Celtic in Zagreb. It can be said that the match was equal and that the distribution of points was fair. That's how Dinamo reached the eighth point and Celtic got 9, so a victory for both of them will certainly bring them to the play-offs in the spring.
Liverpool is the only team to have won all 6 of their six games. The "reds" continue to grind their opponents in every competition, and this time Salah scored the winning goal from the penalty spot, thus bringing his team three new points with a minimal result. Djirona remained at three points and there is practically no chance of going further.
Brest may have created a small surprise by defeating PSV on their home field with a score of 1:0. The French team thus reached 13 points and secured at least the play-off, while PSV remained at 8 points and the battle for the play-off follows in the next two rounds.
Club Breeze won 2:1 against Sporting and thus deepened the agony of the Portuguese since they were left without a coach who brought them many successes. The Belgians now have 10 points, the same as Sporting, and they will most likely be participants in the play-offs even if they lose both of their next matches.
PSG woke up and reached the seventh point with a convincing 3:0 triumph over Salzburg away from home, and now they are the first under the line that leads to the play-offs. This victory will certainly give them wings to continue, and they will probably need one win from the next two matches to advance. On the other hand, Salzburg remained at 3 points and has no more chances to qualify for the play-offs.
And finally Real Madrid also woke up. They scored three points from a very difficult away game against Atalanta with a score of 3:2. The scorers were Mbappe and Vinicius and Bellingham. A very important victory and the ninth point for Madrid, which makes their job much easier in the next two rounds. The Italians remained on 11 points and will be participants in the play-offs for sure.
Aston Villa beat Leipzig in Germany with 3:2 and reached 13 points. One win from the next two rounds will take them directly to the round of 16. On the other hand, Leipzig is one of the three clubs that is STILL without points. They will have two more matches to go to fix this disastrous performance.
Sahtjor just took the lead against Bayern and then stopped. The Germans turned it around, scored 5 goals until the end and completely outclassed the Ukrainians. The company Vincent Kompanija entered 12. Point I has a good chance to reach the round of 16 with victories. Sahtjor remained at 4 points and only both victories in the next two matches lead them to the play-offs.
Inter finally conceded a goal and lost by a minimal score of 1:0 against Bayer in Leverkusen. Bayer deservedly celebrated and scored 13 points, thus reaching the entrance to the round of 16. The Italian team also has 13 points and will most likely play in the round of 16.
Lille and Sturm played an effective duel in which Lille won 3:2 towards the end of the match. The French scored 13 points and are currently in the position leading to the round of 16, while Sturm remained on three points and practically has no more chances for the play offs.
Atletico Madrid registered their tenth victory in all competitions. This time, Slovan from Bratislava fell, suffering its second defeat and remaining without points. The Madrid players now have 12 points, and one more victory will probably take them to the round of 16.
We had a very effective match in the Netherlands, where Feyenoord beat Sparta Prague 4:2. The excellent game was crowned by the team from Rotterdam with ten points, and secured at least a play-off. Sparta remained on four points, and only both victories from the next two matches lead them further.
After a 5:1 defeat in Belgrade, Stuttgart celebrated with the same result at home against Young Boys, although the Swiss took the lead first. The German representative now has seven points on his account, and a real chance to go to the play-offs, while Young Boys still has no points, and is last in the table.
Crvena Zvezda suffered another controversial defeat. This time at San Siro against Milan with 2:1. The home team won in the 87th minute after a corner and an unjudged obvious foul on Spajic. The red and whites didn't deserve to lose in Milan, but they couldn't do it against the referees. With this defeat, they said goodbye to the spring in Europe, while Milan registered 12 points and has a real chance for direct placement in the round of 16.
The second goalless match in this round was played in Lisbon between Benfica and Bologna. The home team took the lead in the 3rd minute, but VAR canceled that goal due to offside. Although they continued to dominate, they failed to break through the wall of the Bologna players. This is the tenth point for the Portuguese, and Bologna is the second, so they finished the European competition this season.
Arsenal justified their role as favorites and beat Monaco on their home field with 3:0. Saka was in a good mood, scoring two goals and registering an assist and thus was most deserving of the new three points for the team led by Mikel Arteta. With this victory, the team from London reached 13 points and third place in the table, while Monaco remained at 10 points.
Barcelona registered a new triumph in Dortmund in a match where 5 goals were scored. The first half ended 0:0, and then Rafinja gave the visitors the lead, and Zirasi equalized. Then Ferran Torres gives Barça the lead again, and Zirassi equalizes again just three minutes later, but Ferran Torres brings his second goal to a 3:2 victory and all three points for his team. The Catalans are now second with 15 points, while Dortmund remained at 12th.
Juventus hosted Manchester City and inflicted another 2:0 defeat on Guardiola's team. The first half ended goalless so that Vlahovic and McKinney would bring the triumph to the 'old lady'. Juve registered 11 points and ensured at least the play-offs, while City remained at 8 points and they have a tough fight ahead of them to move on.
Liverpool holds the entire table with a maximum of 18 points, Barcelona follows with 15, while even six teams have 13 points. Young Boys are last without points, as are Slovan Bratislava and Leipzig.
