Club Breeze and Aston Villa players are the first to take the field this evening. On paper, English are the favorites, but Club Breeze played great games against the favored Atalanta and reached the round of 16, and for sure I will give my best because Aston Villa is not one of the biggest teams, I am the favorite to win. These two teams met this season in the group stage and the Belgians decided in their favor at home, it was 1:0. Aston Villa have only kept one clean sheet in away matches in the Champions League.

Tonight, Borussia Dortmund will host Lille in the first match of the round of 16 at a packed Westfalen. The Germans are the favorites to win the evening and to go on. They have been reaching the final in the Champions League for years, so their experience may be decisive. These two teams met back in 2002. In the round of 16 of the then UEFA Cup, and in both matches there was a draw, 1:1 in France and 0:0 in Germany, so Borussia went on due to the away goal rules at the time. As many as 14 of Borussia's 17 goals in the Champions League were seen in the second half.

After a big win over Juventus, PSV will now cross spears with Arsenal, who are favorites. Neither team is in great form, so this first match will be of great importance for both teams. They have met many times in the previous 20 years, and Arsenal is slightly more successful, but in most cases, they have finished with a low number of goals. Arsenal have kept a clean sheet in 13 of their last 14 away matches in the Champions League.

The last match tonight is a real treat. The city derby of Madrid, in which Real will be the first host. The last three matches, all three in La Liga, ended with a score of 1:1, and something similar, i.e. a very uncertain duel, probably awaits us tonight as well. Real will be significantly weakened because, in addition to the already injured Militao, Ceballos, and Carvajal, Bellingham will also miss the match due to a card. Atlético doesn't have nearly as many personnel problems. Real Madrid have lost just once in their last 17 European knockout matches.

Tomorrow at 6:45 p.m. Feyenoord will welcome Inter at their De Kuip. After the elimination of Milan, the Dutch now have a much more difficult task to eliminate their city rival, who is currently among the top 5 clubs in Europe. They met back in 2002. In the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup, Feyenoord went on to win the competition. Feyenoord has a lot of staffing problems, so Inter is rightfully the favorite on paper, but this is a fairly quick visit due to the atmosphere created by the home fans, it remains to be seen if Inter will be able to overcome it.

A real spectacle awaits us at the Allianz Arena in Munich in the German derby. Bayern welcome Leverkusen, so even though they are favorites to win, anything is possible in these matches. In the table of the German championship, it ranks first and second, the last match that was played two weeks ago was goalless, so goals are rightly expected here.

Benfica didn't have much luck in the match as they lost to Barcelona. The first match will be in Lisbon, and since they did not celebrate in the previous match at the same stadium and in the league part of the home, they will do everything to get a better result this time. Both of them are currently in excellent shape, so a very interesting duel evening is expected, in which the favorites are still guests. Nine of Barcelona's last 11 matches in the Champions League have seen 4+ goals.

And the last match will bring us a real spectacle. A duel between two teams that are perhaps in the best form in Europe will take place in this phase of the competition. PSG will welcome Liverpool at their stadium and will try to achieve a victory that will give them great hope before the rematch. Until a few months ago, the situation was quite different, and PSG secured passage in the last two rounds of the league, but since then they have significantly improved their form, so they are unbeaten in the last 22 games, and have 10 consecutive victories in all competitions. Liverpool is in great shape this season, leaders of the Premier League, and in the Champions League they won 7 times in eight months and finished first in the table. Their only setback was in the FA Cup, where they were unexpectedly eliminated by Plymouth, but they will try to improve that impression in the Champions League. They met in 2018. I won in the group stage when they were the hosts.
