Out of a total of nine Bundesliga matches, as many as eight have seen victories for visiting teams and one draw. Bayern made it three wins in a row with a 3-1 victory over Stuttgart, although the home side took the lead. Dortmund won with two goals in eight minutes at the start of the second half over St. Pauli in Hamburg, and Hoffenheim defeated Bochum by a minimal score. Wolfsburg beat Werder Bremen 2:1 with Wimmer's goals, and Borussia Monchengladbach routinely beat Heidenheim 3:0. Mainz caused some surprise by defeating Leipzig away with 2:1, even though the home team was in the lead. Although it was expected that the match between Eintracht and Bayer Leverkusen would bring uncertainty, it did not happen as the current champions roared past Frankfurt, winning 4:1. And Kiel made a surprise by taking all three points from Berlin against Union, and the last match of the round between Augsburg and Freiburg resulted in a goalless draw.
The Bavarians are at the top of the table with 61 points, while Bayer has 53, and now Heidenheim is at the top with 15 points.
In Italy, as usual, very few goals were seen in this round, and no team scored more than two goals. Fiorentina celebrated with a minimum victory of 1:0 at home against Lecce, as did Udinese with a victory over Parma at home. Atalanta disappointed their fans with a goalless draw against Venice at home, and Napoli and Inter played a draw, 1:1 each, in the derby round, as did Genoa and Empoli. Turin's rivals decided their matches with a 2:0 victory each, Torino away against Monza and Juventus at home against Verona with a red card for the visitors. And in three matches there were victories of 2:1. Bologna defeated Cagliari at home, with goals from Orsolini, after a reversal, then Roma defeated Como, also after a reversal, and Lazio got all three points with a penalty goal in the 98th minute, while Milan ended the match with a player less.
Now, Juventus has officially joined the battle for the title from the edge of the capital. Inter is still first with 58 points, Napoli has a point less, Atalanta has collected 55, and Juventus has 52. In the last place on the table is Monza with 14 points.
In Spain, half the league played a draw. Valladolid and Las Palmas ended their matches 1:1 each, with a red card for the visitors, then Rayo Vallecano and Sevilla, as well as Mallorca and Alaves. Girona and Celta also drew, but 2:2, and Osasuna and Valencia scored a goal in the match that ended 3:3. Minimum victories of 1:0 were recorded by Atletico Madrid at home against Athletic Bilbao, and Leganes with a triumph at home against Getafe. Betis pulled off a surprise win over Real Madrid after a comeback, while Barcelona beat Real Sociedad 4-0, who finished with ten men.
Barcelona took the leading position with 57 points, while Atlético had less and Real had 54 points. Valladolid is in last place with only 16 points.
The French championship saw the most goals this weekend. Monaco defeated Reims at home with 3:0 thanks to a hat trick from Biert. As a guest, Nice defeated St. Etienne 3:1, and the real gaol festival was prepared by Lans and Le Havre in which the guests celebrated 4:3. From the derby round in Paris, we did not see what was expected, because PSG defeated Lille 4:1 much easier than expected. Lyon beat Brest 2:1 at home, with two goals from Lacazette, after a reversal. Toulouse was very convincing and even beat Anze 4:0 away from home, and Rennes celebrated with the same result away from Montpellier, and the home team ended the match with one less player. Strasbourg achieved a minimal triumph by defeating Auxerre on the sidelines, and at the end of the match, the visitors were left with one player less. In the last match of this round, Marseille beat Nantes 2:0 at home.
PSG still leads the table with 62 points, while Marseille is in second place with 49 points, and the last is Montpellier with 15 points won.
