Bournemouth unexpectedly roared against Newcastle and won convincingly with 4:1 with even three goals from Justin Kluivert, the son of the legend of Dutch football, Patrick Kluivert. Osasuna and Rayo Vallecano each won a point in a 1:1 draw, and Valencia finally won at Mestalla, with a minimal triumph over Real Sociedad. In the last match of the round, Villarreal outclassed Mallorca with 4:0.
Real Madrid is at the top of the table with 46 points, followed by Atletico Madrid with two goals less. The last one is currently Valladolid with 15 points, but Valencia has only one point more.
In the 18th round of the French League 1, the first four matches saw identical results of 2:1. With this result, Montpellier defeated Monaco and Lille Nice in the matches played on Friday.
