Brighton once again defeated Chelsea on their home field in a couple of days, this time with 3:0, with two goals from Minteh. Arsenal took all three points away from Leicester, but the goals didn't come until the 81st and 87th minutes, both scored by Merino. The Brandford team won with a minimum score against West Ham and thus registered three very important points. Southampton recorded another defeat, this time at home against Bournemouth with 3:1, and thus sank even deeper in the table. Manchester City unexpectedly won convincingly at home against Newcastle with 4:0 thanks to three goals from the new signing, the Egyptian Marmoush. Fulham defeated Nottingham Forest 2:1 at home. Ipswich took a point from Birmingham in an unpleasant visit to Aston Villa. The match ended 1:1, although the visitors had a player of less than one-half. Everton continued their great games and beat Crystal Palace in London 2:1. With the same result, Liverpool defeated Wolverhampton at Anfield, and in the last match of this round, Tottenham beat Manchester United 1:0 and thus deepened the crisis of the 'devils'.
Liverpool has 60 points, and still holds the whole table, while it is in front of Southampton with only 9 points won.
The first match of the Bundesliga ended without goals, in the draw between Augsburg and Leipzig. Brilliant Freiburg cruised to victory in the 89th minute against St. Pauli away from home, although they missed a penalty in first-half stoppage time. Bochum made a big surprise and defeated Borussia Dortmund on their home field 2:0. The other Borussia, Monchengladbach won against Union in Berlin 2:1. Wolfsburg celebrated with the same result in Stuttgart and created another surprise, although the home team led until the 77th minute. Much more was expected from the derby round in Leverkusen, where the current champion Bayer welcomed the leader of the table Bayern from Munich, but the match ended without goals, and certainly this draw suited the visiting team much more. Werder Bremen took a 1:0 lead, then stopped, and eventually lost 3:1 to Hoffenheim at their stadium. Eintracht Frankfurt celebrated with an identical result at home against Kiel. And in the last match of this round, excellent Mainz won 2:0 against Heidenheim away.
Bayern is still the leader of the table with 55 points, even eight more than the defending champion Bayer Leverkusen. There is bound to be a big crowd after this round. Kiel is last with 13 points, but Bochum and Heidenheim have just one point more.
Bologna beat Torino 3:2 at home, and achieved victory in the 90th minute, thanks to two goals from Ndoje, in the first match of this round of Serie A. This weekend, the Spanish La Liga was full of draws, as many as five, and red cards, which were as many as six. In the first match of this round, Getafe won 2:1 in Girona, and the home team ended the match with one less player. The series of draws started with Leganes and Alaves, who played a great match and ended up sharing the points in a 3:3 draw. The home team took the lead from a penalty through Raba, and the guests equalized 15 minutes later, but the same player again gave the home team the advantage from the penalty, and with that result, we went to halftime. Then Joan Jordan equalized for the visitors, also from the penalty spot in the 50th minute, and 18 minutes later the same player brought about a reversal. The home team scored an equalizing goal in the 82nd minute, but the VAR canceled it due to offside, and then they scored another goal, this time for the final 3:3, and the scorer of that goal, Munir El Haddadi, ended the match early due to a direct red card. Osasuna and Real Madrid played 1:1 with a red card from Bellingham, then Atletico Madrid and Celta Vigo finished with the same result, with a red card from Barrios, as well as Villarreal and Valencia Espanyol and Athletic Bilbao. Sevilla demolished Valladolid away from home with 4:0 and registered a very important triumph. Mallorca beat Las Palmas 3:1 on their home field, thanks to two goals from Murigi. Betis and Real Sociedad played a very interesting match in which the home team won 3:0. First, the visitors were without Zubeldia from the 20th minute because he earned a straight red card, and 13 minutes later Lo Celso missed a penalty for the home team. At the start of the second part of the game, Anthony put the home team in the lead, and then Roca increased the score to 3:0 with two goals in five minutes. The guests received another red card before the end and ended the match with nine players. At the top of the table, it is now very crowded, because Barcelona has 51 points, the same as Real Madrid, but with a better goal difference, while they are followed by Atletico Madrid with one point less.
